Sporting Clube de Goa are back in the top tier of the I-League after a season in the second division. And the Goans will try to make a mark in the I-League after their return. They have been able to keep most of their squad together, while making strategic signings across all positions though releasing some of their older players.
The Flaming Orange had in the end an easy passage back into the I-League after winning their last four matches and they could rectify the accident which happened to them a season earlier, which was their relegation.
The team has been back in training for close to two weeks with South Sudan striker James Moga being the big signing so far, while a seasoned and young players in Milagrio Medeira, Warundeep Singh, Prajot Naik and Gabriel Fernandes along with others have been brought to the club.
